A cat was abandoned with a litter box and cat supplies on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
One woman, Meredith Ferrel managed to take a photo of him crying next to his belonging, before he ran off. She submitted his photos to Flatbush Area Team for Cats (FAT Cats).
Fat Cats started immediately with searching for this little feline. They even wrote on their Facebook page so everyone could be involved in finding this alone and heartbroken cat. Then, Karen Oh, a retired cat rescuer, found the cat in her yard.
She brought the cat to the vet, but they couldn’t find a microchip. Luckily, he was healthy and got named Nostrand after the avenue where he was first spotted.
Nobody couldn’t find out why he was abandoned, but now he is happy thanks to his rescuer.
Now Nostrand, and his new friend who has also been found abandoned during the search, are waiting for their new loving home.
