If your headaches only occur in the morning, this might indicate brain tumor, apnea or high blood pressure.

If you have a headache accompanied by blurred vision, tension in the neck and mood swing, visit your doctor.

Headaches differ in location of pain. Here are the most common:

1. In one of the hemispheres of the brain

Although this type of migraine is not dangerous, it can be really hard because it lasts more than 72 hours. The pain is recognized by pulsating pain of medium to severe intensity and it’s sometimes accompanied by nausea and hypersensitivity to light and noise. Take a painkiller immediately after the pain occurs and rest in a dark and quiet room.

2. Pain in the forehead

This pain is caused by sinusitis. Hot showers and inhalation can help you ease the pain.

3. Pain that feels like a hoop tightening your head

The pain starts gradually and then reaches an average intensity of pain, like a hoop that’s tightening your head. It’s mainly caused by stress and that’s why we suggest to rest anytime you feel this type of pain.

4. Pain in one side of the face accompanied by swollen eyelid

This headache is called Cluster headache. It’s really severe and it can last more than 2 weeks. The pain occurs every day at the same time and it lasts from 1-3 hours. People who suffer from this type of headache say that they felt better moving rather than lying in bed. The pain occurs on one side of the head and it’s often accompanied by red eye, swollen eyelid and forehead covered in sweat.

5. Pain to the back of the head

Pain in the neck and to the back of the head is caused by waist/spine or neck problems. Some fresh air and stretching can help you ease the pain.

6. Pain in the temples

This pain mainly occurs in people that have problems with their joints. The pain occurs in the temples, face and ears. We recommend you to visit a doctor if you suffer from this type of pain.
