Paola Antonini is 21 years old Brasilian model who has amputated leg after she was hit by a drunk driver in 2014.
She lost her leg, but continued proudly to live her life.
“I choose not to look to see the size of damage, but I knew it was serious.“
After a lot of physiotherapy sessions, Paola has just begun learning to walk again, and she was forced by medical advice to have her amputation extended to above her knee.
She continues to wear shorts and bikini, proudly showing her prosthetic limb.
“I want to be a model for other amputees,“ says Paola. And she is. She is a favorite model on the runway in Brasil.
