Babies are always a very important of our lives and we try to keep them happy and content all the time. However there are a few moments when we feel we could have done this but did not due to lack of time or it had slipped out of our mind. This is usually seen when we are out with our babies and while travelling in the car we struggle to find those little things which could make our lives much easier with babies around. To get you free from this guilt let us discuss the 5 must haves in our car when travelling with our bundle of joy.
Bottle of water
Babies do tend to feel thirsty or exhausted as they are always up to something; even while travelling. This dehydrates them and we should take care to feed them water at regular intervals. This is necessary otherwise as well. Babies need to be well fed at all times and water is a necessity after the feeding. This is easily possible when they are at home or at a restaurant. However if we are travelling and we forget the water bottle; it can be a big problem. So make sure to always carry a good amount of water in bottles to make your life easier.
Snacks for babies
Unlike adults babies need their meals in a small amount of time. This is only possible if we have carried some kind of snacks which is liked by our babies and allow them to help themselves. Moreover, travelling makes babies hungry and you would not have the time or the energy to stop around to feed the babies their regular diet. This is where the finger foods or some snacks come to your rescue. This can be a time buyer and can help you to decide the next pit stop. Always make sure that the snacks you choose are of your baby’s choice, else they may not like it and you would be in a soup in the middle of the road.
Towels or napkins
All this eating and drinking may spill things around and even make the baby a little untidy. You would now need a towel or may be some napkins or for that matter baby wipes as well. This will help them to keep tidy and clean. Towels come to your rescue at all occasions. In case if your baby has spilled something while travelling, the napkins or tissues will help to clean the mess and keep your car clean as well. It is also a great way to make you babies teach the right etiquettes and imbibe them with good manners for shaping their future.
Extra set of clothes
Your baby may be the best at its behaviour. However while travelling there are many possibilities that the baby may spill some eatables on their clothes or wet them while drinking water or juice. They may even spill it due to the rough journey of the road. You should keep an extra set of clothes handy at all times so that your baby is fresh as always and you can change their clothes without worrying about anything at all. Being far sighted may save the day for you, rather than keeping your baby dirty or messy due to miss on your end.
Blanket or a jacket
Babies tend to take a power nap while travelling and during this time you would not want them to have a disturbed sleep right? You should carry a blanket or may be a jacket so that they can be used if the weather changes suddenly and it gets chilly. It may even happen that the winds may change its course and your journey turns into a chilly one. Being ready for any situation is better than to feel guilty about not preparing for it. This is a must when travelling with the babies.
