1. There is a Sudden Change in Mood
If someone is moody it doesn’t necessarily mean that they are a cheat, but if they are usually the life and soul of the party and recently they are acting like its World War 3, then something might be going on.
Mood swings are a regular part of life and everyone can be feeling moody or emotional at any time. It might be because there is no chocolate in the house, their favorite TV program has finished or even because the commute to work was bad.
However, if the change in mood is unexplained, the mood swings are regularly occurring, normally aimed towards you then it is time for you to start suspecting that there might be someone else on the scene.
2. They Are Lying About Where They Are Going
This might sound a bit like stalking, but it is very common for people to have tracking devices to track their partners with. Whether they are apps on your phones or car trackers in their vehicles, tracking where your partner is can be used for safety or for proving that they are cheating on you.
Install a tracker in their car and track it from your mobile. This means you can see exactly where they are going on their route home.
Obviously, if they have stopped off for a bottle of milk it doesn’t necessarily mean they are in a relationship with the girl on the till, but you never know.
3. Secretive With Their Phone or Laptop
Everyone is entitled to their privacy and not every partner wants their significant other snooping through their laptop or phone all day long. However, if they don’t let you even look at their phone, if they get a phone call in the middle of the night and leave the room to take it then this is suspicious behavior.
This is especially strange if they are normally quite happy to let you look at their phone or laptop.
4. Dressing Dramatically Differently
If your partner has suddenly changed to start dressing dramatically differently then this could be a telltale sign that they are cheating. By dramatically different we mean they have shaved all their hair off for no reason, look slightly uncomfortable as if someone has told them how to dress, or they are acting completely differently.
5. Your Partner Stops Talking To You
This might sound blatantly obvious but if your partner stops talking to you, starts ignoring your calls and texts then they might be looking elsewhere for the attention. This doesn’t mean you should bombard them with 100 texts a minute, but it might be time to ask them what is going on.
6. Defensive
Once you have realized that you think your partner is cheating and you have quizzed them then it is time to assess their mood. If they are defensive, rude or even nasty then this could also mean they are cheating. Or it could mean they are upset about being accused of cheating, that decision is up to you.
