Cycling in women has many advantages to their health. Cycling is an activity that involves a bicycle where one exercises by stretching their legs back and forth resulting in some force that propels the bike to move forward. There are many health benefits of cycling to women. Most women see cycling as an activity that is associated with the men, and therefore they shun from this activity, it’s only for the few and those that have guts to pedal before people that enjoy these health benefits.
1. Look younger
Women who cycle have their skin protected from harmful UV radiations and these reduces the signs of aging and therefore they look younger. Cycling itself is a form of exercise which increases the oxygen circulation in the skin, hence the nutrients are supplied to every cell in the skin and keeps them healthy.
The circulation in the skin also enables excretion of toxic waste through perspirations from the skin that occurs when one cycles. Cycling being a form of exercise facilitates control of collagen production in the body and therefore the appearance of wrinkles is reduced, and the face becomes smooth, and this is key in women to improve their appearance.
2. Boosts the bowels functioning
This occurs in the case whereby, when one cycles, the activity gets the body muscles in motion and since muscles that interconnected the motions is transmitted to the intestinal walls. The intestinal walls contract, thereby pushing the food in it to move faster.
When peristalsis occurs faster, less water is absorbed by the body from the undigested food due to limited time, which results to smooth flow in the bowels as the undigested food is watery. During cycling one involves self in aerobic exercise as there is breathing in and out during the activity. This helps in the intestinal walls contraction which helps to avoid contraction of bowel cancer due to bloating.
3. The brain power is increased
When one cycle the mind is involved too and the activity and in so doing the old brain cells are utilized giving room for new cells to generate. When new cells are generated in the brain one can think easily as the cells work to their optimum.
By so doing it also results in reduction of stress. Stress results due to the accumulation of various tasks in the brain cells in trying to come up with a solution to the problem, but with cycling and new cells having been generated the stress automatically fades as the new cells can work on the available taste efficiently. Blood circulation in the brain is also boosted during this activity enhancing your thinking.
4. Improve sex life
Being active, especially involving self in the cycling activity improves the vascular health which is directly related to boosting of the sex drive. The females who cycle have their menopause time delay as they tend to act like small and younger energetic teens.
5. Prevents heart disease
This is because it keeps your body fit since all the muscles are stretched and contracted during the activity, and the heart muscles are involved in this when they try to pump blood faster. When the heart muscles are active, there is a minimal accumulation of fat in them hence diseases such as hypertension can be avoided.
6. Lose weight quickly
During cycling, they get their fats used up and excreted from the body and by the end of the certain period they will have lost weight. Many women tend to gain weight due to lack of exercise but with cycling, you are sure to maintain the right weight for your body, and this helps in that you will be free from diseases such as high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes. Cycling increases the metabolic rate which in turn facilitates the burning of calories in the system.
7. Cycling too boosts bellows
This occurs in that when one gets to the activity, the rate of impulse increases from the normal circumstance and therefore blood if pumped faster to the body supplying various cells with oxygen and nutrients. Cycling, therefore, strengthens the cardiovascular system, and these enable the heart and the lungs to work more efficiently.
It has come out clearly that women’s health is boosted a great deal when they cycle. It is high time women change the attitude they have for cycling and get involved in it more frequently so as to enjoy the many health benefits that come with it.
