Need Refreshment? Grab a Glass of Watermelonade

We all enjoy a glass of cold and refreshing drink during a hot summer day. If you’re tired of the same old, homemade lemonade, then you’ll love this recipe. This amazing and refreshing beverage is called watermelonade and it’s the perfect drink for summer.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups cubed and seedless watermelon
  • 3 ½ cups water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Lime slices (optional)
  • Mint (optional)

Preparation:

In a small pot, add ½ cup water and 2 tbsp honey and bring it to boil. Stir until the honey dissolves. Put the watermelon in your blender and blend until smooth. Strain the watermelon until you get pure watermelon juice. Mix the syrup that you previously made with 3 cups of water and lemon juice. Fill your glass with ice, add 3 tbs. watermelon juice and then fill in the glass with the lemonade. Stir gently before serving it.  Garnish with lime slices and mint and enjoy. Enjoy!
