Giorgio Armani
Armani loves the gray color and his ”Fade to Gray” collection gravitates around grayness with light, green shades. The show opened with wide ankle pants and interesting jackets that gave a new look to the traditional women suit. The attractive gray and green dance went on with the sophisticated and elegant evening dresses .
Gucci
Frida Giannini went back to the sixties with a more relaxed collection freed from the dramatic glamour that is Gucci famous for. The creative Gucci creator gladly says that the Gucci woman dresses to please herself and not other people.
”I think it’s time to make real clothes for real women“, she explained. High boots with small heel, pants inspired from man pants, A-line dresses and furry coats in colors pleasant for the eyes are the basics of the collection.
Dolce and Gabbana
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana gave the audience a strange, but visually wonderful fairytale starring knights, maidens and Red Riding Hood. With the “Enchanted Sicily“ collection, the duo left out the folklore elements and entered a new magical territory.
Owls, foxes and squirrels on coats and dresses, flower motives, romantic lace and footwear inspired by knights.
Emilio Pucci
During the show “Call of the Wild“, the designer Peter Dundas presented sexy creations with beads and metal details forming prints typical for the Italian brand. The velvety creations were certainly noticed by the audience and the knitted “Navajo” design creations stood out.
