You’ve probably cooked the cauliflower, cut in pieces before, but have you ever tried to cook it the whole head?
If not, then this recipe is perfect for you.
Here is how to cook oven roasted cauliflower:
Ingredients:
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups of plain Greek yogurt
- 1 lime or lemon (zested and juiced)
- 2 tbsp. of chile powder
- 1 tbsp. of cumin
- 1 tbsp. of crushed garlic
- 1 tsp. of curry powder
- 1 tsp. of black pepper
- 2 tsp. of salt
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F and sprinkle your baking tray with some vegetable oil. First wash the cauliflower head, then cut off the stem. Mix the yogurt, lime (or lemon) juice, chile powder, cumin, garlic, curry powder, salt and pepper in a bowl all together. Then, put the cauliflower into the bowl and spread the marinade over its surface equally.
Add the marinaded cauliflower on the baking tray and roast for 30 to 40 minutes in the oven until its head is lightly browned. Let it cool for about 10-15 minutes and serve immediately.
