Makeup brushes are breeding grounds for bacteria and that’s why it’s extremely important to clean them regularly. In order to help you achieve perfect clean brushes, we’re giving you the recipe to make your own brush cleaner. The best part is that the cleaner is made from all natural ingredients only!
Here’s what you need to prepare the makeup brushes cleaner:
- 2 tbsp Fractioned coconut oil
- 5 drops Melaleuca essential oil
- 5 drops grapefruit essential oil
Preparation:
In a small bowl, mix the coconut oil and the essential oils. Grab the brush and swirl it into the mixture for 30 seconds. Rub it in circular motions on the palm of your hand to get the excess makeup out. Rinse with warm water afterwards. Squeeze the bristles gently under the running water until the water is clear. Place the clean brush on a dry towel and leave it there until it’s dry. Repeat this once a month!
