Here’s what you need to prepare these incredibly delicious whole wheat peanut butter banana crepes:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 5 tbsp. peanut butter
- 1 banana
- A pinch of salt
- Chopped peanuts and dark chocolate for garnish (optional)
Preparation:
In a bowl, mix the egg, flour, milk and salt. Mix until the batter is slightly thinner than pancake batter. Once the batter is mixed, cover the bowl with a towel and leave it alone for 5 minutes.
Place a non-stick skillet on your stove, on medium heat. Add some butter to melt and heat the skillet. Pour ¼ cup of batter in the middle of the pan and start swirling the pan in circular motions to spread the batter all over. Cook until the crepe gets golden and then flip it. Cook another 60 second. Repeat until you finish your batter. With this recipe you’ll get around 10 crepes.
Spread each crepe with peanut butter, fold in half and if you like top with banana slices, peanuts and dark chocolate.
