As we age, our body loses its natural flexibility and mobility. We have 5 exercises that will help you determine your body’s age and test your flexibility. Be aware that the result might not be so pleasant!
Here are the 5 exercises that will help you determine the age of your body:
1. Spine Flexibility
- It’s great if you can put your palms on the floor. That means you stretch regularly and you’re not older than 25.
- If you touch the toes with just your fingers, you need to practice more.
- If you can’t touch the floor at all, you need to start working out.
2. Shoulder joint flexibility
- If you did the exercise correctly, it means you’re very young or you’re very flexible.
- If the exercise is challenging, you need to exercise more.
- If it was difficult and you didn’t manage to get into the position, you need to starts practicing more.
3. Front part of the neck and shoulder girdle flexibility
- If you did the exercise correctly, you’re great and you’re really flexible.
- If you can’t touch your heels, you need to work on your flexibility. But don’t push it, you are not a teenager.
4. Hip joint flexibility
- If you can touch your knee with your forehead and stay in the position for at least 2 minutes, it means your body’s age is really close to your real age.
- If you can’t bend and can’t touch your knee, it means your joints are not mobile and you’re not flexible enough.
5. Knee joint flexibility
- This exercise is not difficult at all when you’re young.
- After 30 years, it gets difficult to perform the exercise without bending your knees, back and elbows.
- If you can’t do this exercise at all, it means you’re not a friend with sports and probably more than 50 years old.
