When getting a wristwatch do you ever consider it will develop a fault and you will have to get it fixed? There are some that can be fixed by you and some can’t just not because you will not dare give it a trial but because you have little or no knowledge on how to repair wristwatch.

Changing of battery
I bought a wristwatch or my fiancée. i noticed she loves wristwatches and I decide to get her one. I did that when I noticed she will be coming over to stay for the weekend. I got a pretty one with gold strap. Indeed she loves it the very moment I gave it to her and she appreciated it.
Just a month after, I noticed she stopped using the watch and I didn’t ask since she didn’t say anything to me about it. She doesn’t want me to feel too bad that she got it damaged. Finally I asked and she told me it stopped working.
I took the watch and on our way out, we got to one of the watch repairer shop and we gave the man to check. He said the battery is weak and we had to get a new one. He changed the battery and the watch is back to its working state.
She was happy and said she thought she had damaged the watch and doesn’t know how I will feel about it. I told her it’s one of the problems you can do away with when it comes to wristwatch because they have mechanical engine and can stop anytime without notice.
Operation
If you don’t know how your wristwatch works, you are likely to assume it is damaged or it gets spoilt. There are some wristwatches that are powered by battery and some are powered through the movement of the wearer. If you get a watch that is powered through the motion of the wearer, you need to be aware of the fact that it will stop working once you have it off your hand more than 8 hours.
If you pick it up after eight hours and intend to use, you are likely to find a watch that is different with the current time. This means you have to set the time before using it.
