A British research has shown that a healthy lifestyle can reduce your chances of getting any type of cancer for 40%.
According to the British Center for Cancer research, some of the main reasons for cancer are smoking and an unhealthy diet. Reducing alcohol intake and regular exercises help reduce the risk of getting cancer. According to data from 2007 to 2011, more than 300.000 cancer cases in the UK were caused by smoking.
An unhealthy diet caused 145.000 people to get cancer, overweight was the reason for 88.000 cancer patients and alcohol for 62.000.
Some of the risk factors include skin damage by too much sun exposure and also being physically inactive.
