Anonymous Hackers Shut Down Iceland’s Government Websites Because Of Illegal Whale Hunting

Anonymous, the worldwide famous network of anonymous hackers and haktivists, have attached the Icelandic Government website in order to respond to the country’s illegal whale hunting.

Anonymous shut down all websites of the Government for 13 hours between 27th and 28th of November, except the Ministry of Welfare. Although the International Whaling Commission has a whaling moratorium and Iceland is a member of the commission, some companies in Iceland continue to kill whales.
