Every eye shape requires an individual makeup technique. Here we are going to help you draw the perfect arrows according to your eye shape.
Hooded eyes
If you have hooded eyes, you probably have a problem with the excess skin hanging over the upper eyelids which makes the eyes look smaller. Use the darkest eyeliner to cover the whole upper lash line. You also need to add as much volume to your lashes as possible, to make your eyes wider.
Almond-shaped eyes
If the inner and outer corners of your eyes are at the same level, and the distance between the inner corners is equal to one eye’s length, then you have an almond shape. Apply a thin line on your upper eyelid from the inner corner, then extend the line at the outer corner. This way you will make your eyes beautiful and look wider.
Wide-set eyes
If the distance between your eyes is more than one eye’s width, you have wide-set eyes. Draw an arrow from the inner corner to the outer corner. Then draw a line on the lower eyelid starting from the middle of the eye, but don’t draw beyond its outer corner. This makeup technique will make your eyes look a little closer together.
Elongated eyes
If you have elongated eyes, when applying eyeliner make sure not to make them look narrow. Draw an arrow a little bit away from the lash line. Apply white pencil between the eye and lashes. Then use a black pencil to emphasize the upper eyelid, thickening the central part of the arrow. This way will make your eyes look brighter and bigger.
Large eyes
If you have large or round eyes, apply the eyeliner on your upper eyelid, and draw an arrow about a centimeter beyond the outer corner. This makeup technique will make your eyes look a bit more elongated.
