3D printing is a revolutionary technology that gives opportunities for blind people to “see” the world around them. Tatiana Guerra is en expecting mother who lost her sight when she was 17. During a routine ultrasound exam, she got the chance to “see” her unborn baby for the first time thanks to the 3D technology.
The company Huggies Brasil wanted to surprise the expecting mother so they provided a mobile 3D printer. Tatiana’s doctors 3D-printed little Murilo’s ultrasound and gave it to her. This was the first time Tatiana ‘saw’ what her unborn baby looks like.
“I’m very happy to meet Murilo. Before he’s born”, said Tatiana.
