10 years ago, Zach Skow got the worst news a person could get. Doctors told him he only has three months to live because he had a serious liver disease, but he proved them wrong. Zach is now healthy, has a family, a job he loves and he’s living love to the fullest.
When Zach got the devastating news that he’ll die in just three months, he decided to completely transform his life and spend his last days completely dedicated to his 3 rescued dogs. Zack was on a mission to destroy the disease and his team of dogs were there to help him fight.
Zach was struggling with an alcohol and drug addiction for a long time. He reached a stage in his life where if he didn’t stop drinking, he’ll end up dead. Doctors told him he’ll be dead in just 90 days i he didn’t get a liver transplant. At that moment, Zach realized that only his dogs see him with admiration instead of a desperate and addicted man. His dogs were happy spending time with him so he decided to fight for them.
He agreed to have the transplant, but in order to undergo the operation, he needed to be sober. Zach stopped taking drugs and drinking alcohol, started exercising and started spending more time outside with his wonderful dogs.
Zach’s condition got so much better that he didn’t need to get a liver transplant.
When he received the news that he was completely healthy, he decided to dedicate his life to rescuing dogs. He now runs the program called “Miracle Mutts’ and managed to rescue more than 5000 dogs. Zach sends dogs to people diagnosed with cancer, prisoners, disable people and to anyone that needs a dog.
Zach claims he found the purpose of his life and loves working as a professional.
