The foundations recommends parents from all round the world to teach their kids to eat healthy and to avoid feeding them with processed meat such as salami, hot dogs and paté. Nutritionists strongly recommend you to eliminate processed meat from your kids diet, especially if they’re younger than 5.
It’s a known fact that hot dogs contain flavor enhancers and nitrates that are bad for our health. Nutritionists don’t even recommend hot dogs for grown-ups. They strongly recommend to reduce hot dog consummation to once in 10 days.
So, the next time you consider giving your kid a hot dog, make him a nice salad instead. After all, we all want our kids to be healthy.
