Jessica Lewis was having a rough time because she needed to evacuate from her college town and go home to Atlanta before hurricane Irma hit the town. Jessica had two problems: she had a class to attend and she had Luna, her dog, with her so there was only one thing to do! Jessica wrote to her professor and asked him if she could bring Luna to his class.
“Dr Kennedy, my name is Jessica Lewis,” she wrote in a letter that’s since gone viral. “I realize the answer to this is probably no, but I thought that you might actually be a cool enough professor to say yes, and so I figured it was worth a shot. Can I bring my dog to class today?” wrote Jessica in the letter that went viral.
