This little dog was left in a car in Sacramento, California, by his owner to wait for him while he was in the air-conditioned comfort of a shopping mall. The poor dog was gasping for air in a brutally overheated car with almost 160 degrees inside.
Luckily, some passerby noticed the dog and called the firefighters. Quickly, they arrived on the scene and managed to save the dog.
“Unacceptable,” the Sacramento Fire Department wrote in a tweet. “When warm, never leave pets in cars.”
When the owner returned to the car, he was fined by police, and the dog was surrendered to animal control.
Many people are leaving their dogs in overheated car, and in many cases it can be fatal.
This is unacceptable, you should never ever leave your dog in a car especially when is warm.
