Meet Bonnie and Clyde, the two inseparable shelter dogs. They were found together on the streets of Arizona and got rescued by Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC). Since the rescuers noticed their connection decided to put them in a same kennel.
It’s not strange for dogs to cozy up to one another, but these canine friends have taken things to a whole other level. The smaller pup named Clyde, actually spends most of the time at the top of Bonnie, and the bigger dog doesn’t seem to mind at all.
“Initially we thought it was a fluke, but it started happening a lot,” says MCACC’s public information officer, Jose Santiago. “Now it is unusual to not see them that way. They are as bonded as you can imagine.”
Bonnie and Clyde are truly inseparable and of course recently they have been adopted together.
