One morning in South California, a man found a wounded owl on his porch. He took the owl to the veterinarian and that’s how the owl found a new home – The center for wild animals in Sylmar, California. There was diagnosed that the owl is blind and that he couldn’t return into the wild. The owl was named Zeus after the Greek god of the sky and thunder. He got this name because of his amazing, magical eyes where you can see a whole galaxy of stars. He brings happiness to the people who work at the center and joy for the visitors.
Zeus got hurt by hitting his head and that was the reason was he’s blind. He was scared at first, but luckily there are people who take care of him and nurture this amazing owl. They say that Zeus is really great with people who come to see him and he always makes them smile.
