No matter how do you look, the true beauty comes from the inside out, and this kitty is a real proof of that.
Meet Chase, the no face cat! She was hit by a car 10 years ago, when she was just 4 weeks old. She miraculously survived and overcame her injuries.
Here is the Chase’s story.
A young man found the stray kitten on the side of the road and brought her to Chevy Chase Animal Clinic in Lexington, Kentucky, where Chase’s human, Melissa Smith, was working as a veterinary assistant. The man donated money for the kitten’s recovery and told clinic staff to do what they could to help her. Chase underwent many surgeries, but the vets couldn’t save her face. Smith decided to take the faceless kitty home temporarily, but hat eventually became permanent.
No matter how she looks like, her family simply adores her. Chase is completely healed now, pain-free and full of life.
She lives with her owners in a house and behaves just like any other cat. She only needs occasional antibiotics and daily eye drops to keep her eyes moist. She loves sleeping, eating, belly rubs, chasing flies, running down the stairs… she does everything a normal cat would do.
