How to prepare the Vatican Cake
While preparing this cake, you can’t use metal dishes or a metal spoon. Use a bowl made out of glass and a wooden spoon. Don’t keep the mixture in the freezer; always keep it on room temperature, covered with a kitchen towel.
Monday
In a large bowl, put 250gr white sugar.
Tuesday
Add 250 ml milk, mix with a wooden spoon.
Wednesday
Add 250 gr flour; mix everything with a wooden spoon.
Thursday
Mix it three times, once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once at night.
Friday
Add 250 ml milk, 250 gr flour and 250 gr sugar. Mix everything good.
Saturday
Mix the dough and divide it to 4 equal pieces. Put the 3 pieces in separate jars made of glass and leave your piece in your bowl.
Sunday
In the bowl with your dough add: 250 gr flour, 250 ml oil, 3 eggs, 3 grated apples, 1 tbsp baking powder, ½ tbsp sodium bicarbonate, 1 tbsp cinnamon, 50 gr chocolate, 150 gr raisin and 1 tbsp vanilla sugar.
Mix everything good. Bake for 20-30 minutes on 180°C. Watch the oven carefully because the cake bakes fats.
