Aubrie Moates is a professional birth photographer from Alabama who attended and took photos of 58 births in 2015. To mark the end of 2015, Aubrie published the most powerful and most emotional photos she has taken through the year.
Baby saying “I love you” using the sign language, tied umbilical cord, mother diagnosed with breast cancer giving birth to a healthy baby, father overtaken with emotions…
“A lot of the images that I was drawn to were not only about the literal moment of birth, but the moments and people surrounding the experience. That’s what I love so much about birth photography: It tells a story,”says Aubire.
