She Only Ate Bananas for 12 Days! Look What Happened!

Yulia Tarbath – a nutritionist and motivation coach, decided to do a full body detox and eat only bananas for 12 days.

She explained that bananas are exceptional fruits high in calories, fructose, sucrose, glucose and fibers and they can keep you full for a long period of time.

The first thing she noticed during her detoxification is stomach ease and better digestion.

“I couldn’t feel my stomach at all and my bowels were so quiet. I also felt more relaxed, more positive and more creative”, explains Yulia.

She also noticed that she was more focused.

“For the first time in my life, one day was enough to finish all my daily chores. I wasn’t tensed so I could focus more on each task. “

Her husband Paul also took on this challenge. Paul and Yulia are both vegan. They have their own fruit and veggie farm so this challenge wasn’t hard for them.

Before starting this challenge, Yulia has increased blood sugar levels, digestive problems, candida; she suffered from depression, hormonal disbalance and she was struggling to become a mother for many years. After radically changing her life, her health improved and she finally became a mother.

Some doctors and nutritionists don’t recommend this food regime. Although fresh fruits and vegetables have less salt and are rich in fibers, some fresh products can be counter-productive.

Cauliflower, kale and broccoli can damage your thyroid and if you have problems with the thyroid, you should avoid eating these products. Also, people who eat only raw fruits and veggies could lack vitamin B12, iron, zinc and potassium in their organism, which leads to anemia. That’s the reason why this food regime isn’t recommended to elder people, pregnant women and children.
