Who doesn’t want to have soft and gorgeous hands during winter? Winter can be pretty harsh for your skin and your hands can become dry and patchy. Here’s how to protect your hands during winter:
- Always wear gloves during winter. Gloves will protect your hands from getting dry.
- Always carry a hand cream with you and apply it as soon as you notice your hands getting dry.
If you want to have soft, smooth and gorgeous looking hands in winter, then follow our simple tips:
- Mix 1 tbsp. almond oil with 10 gr. Petroleum jelly. Add 2-3 drops of jasmine and rose essential oil and mix. Apply this mixture on your hands every night before going to bed.
- In a tub, add some baby shampoo, 5 mugs tepid water, 7 drops of hydrogen peroxide and 7 drops of ammonia. Dip your hands into the mixture and keep them for 15 minutes. Rinse your hands afterwards. This will make your hands look radiant.
- Buy an apricot hand cream and apply it every night before going to bed. Apricot cream will help you reduce wrinkles and will make your hands soft and smooth.
- If you have extra rough and dry skin, use almond oil every day. Apply it on your hands and then wear cotton gloves on top.
- Make your own hand mask by mixing lemon juice and turmeric. Apply it on your hands, leave it for 15-20 minutes and then rinse. Lemon will remove any dirt and the mixture will make your hands soft.
- If you have dark knuckles, apply milk cream on them. It will lighten the color.
- Make a paste by mixing olive oil and a handful of rose petals and rub the mixture into your hands. Do this 3 times a week and your hands will become shiny and soft.
- Mix 6-7 drops olive oil, few drops of glycerin and 1 tbsp. instant coffee powder to make your own hand scrub. Rub the mixture onto your wet hands. The scrub will remove the dead skin cells and will rejuvenate the skin on your hands.
