Sunrise Smoothie
This smoothie is a beautiful presentation of two layers of color. It looks and taste wonderful!
Ingredients:
Mango Pineapple Layer
- 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple (chopped)
- 1/2 cup frozen mango (chopped)
- 1/4 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp honey
Strawberry Banana Layer
- 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 frozen banana (chopped)
- 1/4 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp honey
Preparation:
Put all of the ingredients for the first layer of the smoothie in a blender and blend until smooth. Then, pour the pineapple mango layer in 2 big glasses and put them in the freezer.
Wash the blender and put all of the ingredients for the strawberry banana layer, and blend until smooth. Pour the second layer of the smoothie on top of the pineapple mango mixture.
Decorate with minced coconut if desired. Serve immediately.
Banana Blueberry Smoothie
This yummy smoothie contains blueberries, rich with antioxidants, which boost immune system and yogurt rich in calcium and B-vitamins.
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
- 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
