The Perfect Snack: Spinach Dip Mozzarella Sticks

Planning a party and need a new and quick recipe for snacks? We got your back! We’re giving you the recipe for the most delicious spinach dip mozzarella sticks that everyone will love.

Here’s what you need to prepare them:

  • ½ cup cooked spinach (drained)
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Some canola oil
  • Some marinara sauce for dipping

Preparation:

Line a square baking pan with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix the mozzarella, spinach, cream cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix until all ingredients are combined. Pour the mixture in the pan and spread the mixture evenly. Place the pan in the freezer and let it sit for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, invert the frozen spinach dip onto a cutting board. Remove the paper and slice 1 cm strips. Cut the strips in half to make sticks. Grab 3 separate bowls and place the eggs, flour and breadcrumbs. Dip the sticks into the flour, then the eggs, then in the breadcrumbs, them back to the eggs and again in the breadcrumbs.

Heat the canola oil over medium heat and fry the sticks for 30-60 seconds. Let them cool and then serve them with your favorite marinara sauce. Enjoy the party!
