Anja Ringgren Lovén has been staying in a camp in Nigeria for 3 years now. She’s in Nigeria because she wants to help the Nigerian kids. One day, Anja shared a devastating and heartbreaking photo on her Facebook profile. The photo went instantly viral and broke the hearts of everyone who saw it.
Anja shared a photo that’s showing the reality, that the world we live in is a cruel place…
Here’s what Anja wrote under the photo she posted:
“I’ve seen literally everything during my 3-year stay in Nigeria. Thousands of kids were being accused for being witches. We saw tortured, scared and dead children… This photo shows why I’m still here and why I’m still fighting…”
Luckily little Hope is now safe and is in recovery. Unfortunately, those emotional wounds are more difficult to heal.
A few days after posting the photo, Anja posted another photo on her Facebook.
“He’s a strong boy. It’s wonderful seeing him sitting and playing with my son. I don’t know how to describe it with words. This is what makes life beautiful! I’ll keep on posting these types of photo because they tell true stories,” wrote Anja under her photo.
