Ingredients:
- 4 cups sifted flour
- 4 tbsp. baking powder
- 4 cups warm milk
- ¾ cups melted butter
- 4 egg whites
- 3 egg yolks
- Some maple syrup
Preparation:
In a large bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. In another bowl, mix the milk, butter and egg yolks. In a third bowl, using a hand mixer, beat the egg whites to make a soft peaks form.
Mix the flour mixture with the milk mixture using a rubber spatula. Add the egg white snow and extremely gently fold just to combine the mixture.
Place your pancake pan on the stove, over low heat. Pour ½ cup of the pancake batter, smooth out the top and cover with a lid. Cook until the pancake is golden, around 20 minutes. Serve the pancakes on a plate and top with some maple syrup. Enjoy!
