Born and brought up in China, Yue wang is a passionate filmmaker. Putting life to her creative imagination and presenting things in a different yet appealing format is her talent and skill both.
Yue Wang completed her Masters in filmmaking in the US.
‘A hardworking and dedicated person and very certain about what she does’- this is how her team defines her. Yue’s love for filmmaking has already taken her miles ahead, and she is still working with the same zest to realise her dream of becoming a successful Hollywood Producer.
Working together with a team with different persons each playing a different role in filmmaking has its challenges as well. The biggest problem is to deal with people whenever there is conflict over a particular thing or scene or demand for the film. Yue is excellent in her public relations and can quickly deal with people during such a crisis or challenging times. Patience and perseverance are her top quality, and probably that makes her very different from fellow artists.
Even in her short career till date, she has bagged many head-turning projects that include the costliest Chinese TV series that budgeted 7 million and the famed series Big Brother in the capacity of Assistant to the producer. Her journey also comprises projects like Happy time Murders, Beneath the Banyan Tree, The Cashier, Question 50 and many more.
It was a great experience to meet such a humble yet professional and career oriented person over a cup of tea. I found her very profoundly attached to every project she has handled so far, and she remembers every minute details of each one of them.
“ My ultimate goal is fixed (i.e. to become a successful Hollywood producer), but my road to success is not.” Probably this is the boldest thing I heard from such a young and determined mind. Yue is sure that each project in her pocket is a next mile she travels towards achieving her dreams.
Wang has a very charismatic personality, and this is reflected in her recent project ‘Signal’ which received a lot of acclaim at various film festivals.
