A few days ago, we posted the story about Cassie, the dog that begged her owner not to leave her behind in the animal shelter. The photo was taken by one of the volunteers at the Jackson County Animal shelter where behind, heartbroken, terrified and sad.
In just a few days, thousands of people saw Cassie’s photo and read her story. Many people offered to help but luckily one rescue organization stepped up for the beautiful Cassie.
The organization called “Safe and Sound Animal Rescue” from Wantage, New Jersey put Cassie with a foster mom in Florida who reported that she was doing fine. Now, Cassie is adopted and she’ll forever be well and loved!
